From first installation to everyday family protection.

Find a guide, check required permissions or contact the team. In an emergency, contact local emergency services — Guardian does not replace an emergency number.

01

Start with Guardian Parent

Download the standalone parent APK and sign in to an activated account. Once registration is enabled, create an account on the Registration page and verify the caregiver's phone by SMS. After signing in, add your first child and create an invitation.

  • Android may ask for one-time permission to install from your browser.
  • Updates must be signed with the same Guardian certificate as the installed version.
  • Do not share the parent's sign-in details with the child's device.

02

Pair child's phone

Select your child in the parent app and create an invitation. The easiest way is to open the private link on the child's phone; alternatively, scan the QR code or enter the code.

  • The invitation is single-use and has an expiry time.
  • The child app shows permission setup progress and protection status.
  • After pairing, you can name or revoke a device in the parent app and portal.

Check location and zones

Location freshness depends on permissions, battery settings, connectivity and platform capabilities. Always check the last sync time.

  • A grey or disconnected phone does not automatically mean danger.
  • Geofencing reports arrivals and departures; it does not diagnose a situation.
  • History is limited by your plan and the retention policy.

Set your first rule

Start with one predictable schedule. Add always-allowed apps and check the preview before applying the policy.

  • SOS and emergency features remain available.
  • Enforcement capabilities may differ between Android and iOS.
  • Version history helps explain which rule is active.

Use AI as an assistant

Describe what you need in a natural sentence. Guardian shows its interpretation, schedule, scope and potential conflicts. Applying it requires parental approval.

  • The safety score is not a diagnosis of your child.
  • AI does not read private conversations.
  • You can dismiss or edit every suggestion.
How Guardian AI works
06

Manage account and privacy

In the portal, view sessions, revoke devices, change plans, pay invoices and request data export or deletion.

  • Revoke an unknown session immediately.
  • Deletion operations require a second confirmation.
  • Support tickets are visible in the Support tab.

07

Enable required Android permissions

The child app guides you through location, usage access, notifications and background activity. Each permission explains its purpose. Refusal is never bypassed — the feature simply remains inactive.

  • Always-on location permission is needed for zones and location check-ins.
  • Usage access provides screen time data and category limits.
  • Disabling battery optimisation helps maintain sync.

Safety check-ins, SOS and emergency contacts

Requests expire and are visible on the child's phone. Emergency contacts are private to the family. Guardian does not make automatic calls or activate hidden cameras.

  • Child's reply: I'm OK, call me or share location.
  • SOS is not removed by ordinary notification settings.
  • In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Plan, invoices and subscription changes

The portal's Subscription tab shows your current plan, period and invoices. Selecting a plan creates an invoice. Access activates after actual payment confirmation. Choosing a plan or generating bank details does not grant access. External payments require operator configuration and verification before selling.

  • The trial lasts 14 days without a card or automatic payment. Subscription features are then blocked; SOS, messages and unlocking remain available.
  • Annual billing costs the equivalent of 10 months.
  • Payment history is also available in the admin panel.
